- 8 oz (227g) dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup (60ml) water
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 cups (480ml) heavy cream
- Melt the dark chocolate and water in a microwave or over a double boiler.
- Stir in the sugar and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
- Whip the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
- Spoon the mousse into serving glasses and refrigerate.
